Born 15-Jan-1843 in Horni Becva, Moravia. She was called "Maud". In 1888, after the deaths of her husband and all of her children except Paul, Maud moved to Buckholts, Milam County, TX. Maud and her som, Paul, came to the United States with her brother, Frank Fojtasek, and his family. Maud lived for several years in Rogers, Bell County, TX making her home with her son. In December 1920, she moved to Lebanon, Linn County, Oregon, with Paul and his family. Magdalena died in Lebanon on 25-Mar-1930 (age 87 yrs). She was buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lebanon, Oregon.

Magdalena was married to John Bolf who was born in 1833 in Moravia. John was a son of Martin Bolf (born in 1810). John died in Moravia in 1888 (age 55 yrs). When John died, his son, Paul, was 12 years old.
