Note | Born in Horni Becva. Frank was about 5 or 6 years old when his mother died of tuberculosis. His father soon remarried. When Frank was a young boy, he often ran away from home, was always gone for long periods of time, and didn't keep in touch with his father. In 1888 when Frank's father and stepmother were getting ready to move to the United States of America, Frank was gone from home. They tried to find him but were unsuccessful. They finally had to leave for America without him. Many years later, Frank's father heard indirectly that Frank had married a German girl, that he had settled in Germany, and that eventually he had 12 sons. It seems very probable that Frank had sons or grandsons in the Nazi German Army under Adolf Hitler during World War II. |
